Public Art at Caraleigh Park

Raleigh Arts is seeking an artist to create sensory-friendly public artwork at Caraleigh Park. In keeping with the universal design goals of the Caraleigh Park Improvement Project, Raleigh Parks would like the art piece to have sensory elements, such as tactile features, bright, visually stimulating colors and designs, and unique materials that interact with light or product soft sound. Raleigh Parks is also interested in working with an artist(s) with lived experience with disability and/or neurodivergence.
Pedestrian Safety Murals
Deadline: January 15, 2025
Raleigh Arts is artists to create new public street art as part of pedestrian safety initiatives.

Pullen Arts Center Solo Exhibition
Deadline: January 31, 2025
Pullen Arts Center is seeking solo artists with large collections to exhibit solo shows in Pullen Arts Center's main gallery throughout 2026. Applicants must feel confident in their ability to fill a large space with their work.

SEEK Raleigh
Deadline: To be announced for Spring 2025
SEEK Raleigh is an experimental public art program by Raleigh Arts that engages the community through public art in City of Raleigh Parks, greenways, and/or community spaces. Propose a public art project that you would like to create. Artists may submit up to four proposals per year. The City will provide space and funding.

Raleigh Art's Block2 Gallery is an outdoor visual platform for video, digital, and new media artists. Viewed after dark, the changing videos aim to expand a viewer's notion of visual art and introduce the community to new artists, ideas, and experimental mediums.
